Read Write Learn for Success has been helping children for over 2 years. This program, which was started by Mrs. Jackson, an educator specializing in Language Arts (Reading and Writing), will continue helping children succeed in school.   This program, which started several years ago, is a little-known fact that has been at the forefront helping to educate mainly children of color. One fact that has been and will remain stable is that there is no charge for the children who attend. Since the onset of Covid-19 schools, children, schools, teachers have been struggling to regain some semblance of order as we continue trying to teach our children. In far too many cases we are noticing a vast exodus from the field of education as teachers are left in a state of limbo as they try to teach children who appear not to be interested in learning.    We see that children are not where they need to be, but how do we get them back to the point that they care about their learning.    As we stated at the inception of ReadWriteLearn for Success,  our goal is to help our children get on the track to  succeed.  We have set out to get our Children back and to help them move ahead farther than they were before.  Before COVID-19 many of our students were behind, but not like they are now; many teachers were struggling, but nothing like it is now.  Children are coming into classes with a new attitude and not like the song from the 70’s.  It is true that they have a ‘new attitude’ but it is not an attitude for success, it is one of defeat.  In order for us to boost our children’s attitudes toward success we must get them on the road to reading again.  Reading has been and always will be one of the key factors in gaining that needed push toward success.  The key factor in all that we have seen and are seeing is that we must first learn to read.   If we want our to schools and thrive, for our children to feel good about themselves being an excellent reader is the component that is needed.     ReadWriteLearn was started because we knew our children needed and wanted help, and we are here, and we are asking the community, churches, parents, and school districts to come on board or allow us to get on board with you as we reach out to our parents, grandparents, and the public,  as we Impact the lives of our children.
